Welcome to our Group

International Teachers Group LLC is an employment agency, which recruits teachers under H-1B visa. With our law firm partners we offer a complete package of services for professionals who are seeking employment in U.S. schools and related educational institutions. These services include licensure, finding a teaching position, visa and waiver procedures.

How it works

  1. Fill out our online application.
There is no charge for filling an application with International Teachers Group. We will need your basic information such as address, phone number, educational and professional background to make an initial evaluation.

  2. What do we expect from our applicant teacher:
Shortly after you have submitted the application, International Teachers Group will contact you by e-mail. We will schedule you for an interview.

We are expecting our candidates to have strong English skills and to be able to share with us good quality information about their teaching experience, educational background and information about themselves. We are asking for three professional references.

Please allow us a week or two after the interview to decide if you have been accepted to our program. If you do not hear anything from us during this time it means that you have not met our standards and your application has been denied.

  3. Services, fees and contract
We will send you a contract by email. Please take time to read all the terms and conditions from this contract before you sign it. This is a contract between you and International Teachers Group where International Teachers Group LLC takes the responsibility to find you a teaching position for the upcoming school year.

International Teachers Group LLC is not your employer or sponsor. The school district you are going to be placed in will represent your H-1B visa sponsor and your employer. International Teachers Group LLC is a mediator between the school district and the applicant teacher. With our law firm partners we will assist you to obtain your teaching license, a teaching position and a visa. You may apply with your own lawyer but if you it is hard to find inexpensive and reliable law services we can recommend you our immigration lawyer.

The total expenses for our services are about $5,000. This includes the teaching position, licensure, attorney fees, visa fees and the deposit* (see No. 3. For more details you may call our office or send us an email.

  4. Deposit
In our company we are committed to our goals and we will make sure that you will get the job that you want. After you signed the contract please mail (fa un link pentru adresa noastra de mail – respective pagina de contact us) it to us with a check of 700$. This represents the deposit International Teachers Group will ask you before starting to work on your case. This money is completely refundable if ITG will not be able to find a teaching position for you. If for some reason you decided to quit the program before the beginning of the school year International Teachers Group will not refund your money.

  5. Deadlines
The latest date for submitting the application will be March 1st. We will accept application even after this date but there will be no refund of the deposit in case International Teachers Group cannot find a teaching position for you.

  6. Documents
The application process is different depending on the state you will be interested to teach in. We will send you a detailed list of all the documents you will have to submit to us. Some applications require additional fees to be processed (please email or call us for details about fees that may apply).

  7. Visa information
The H-1B visa is issued for an initial period of 3 years and might be extended for a second term of 3 years. This type of visa is issued to the applicants who are seeking employment in areas such as: engineering, teaching, programmers, models, etc. The applicant must have a minimum of a bachelor degree in the area he/she is looking for employment.

In order to obtain a visa an applicant must have a sponsor or a petitioner who will apply for his visa. The petitioner must be an American agency.
A maximum of 65,000 H-1B visas are issued every year but some petitioners may qualify for a visa cap exempt.

Canadian and Mexican citizens are also eligible for TN Work Visas.
